2025 Festival Cancelled
To our beloved Kispiox Valley Music Festival community,
After much thoughtful discussion, the KVMFS board has made the difficult but necessary decision to pause KVMF for 2025. While we know this may come as a disappointment, we want to assure you that this is a healthy and strategic step forward.
Over the past few years, this amazing event has only grown in popularity, with attendance reaching all-time highs in recent years. It’s been incredible to see this community come together in such a big way, but we’ve also reached a point where, in more ways than one, the event is being pushed to the limits. For the festival to continue thriving, we need to take a step back and reassess our systems, resources, and organization to ensure a sustainable future.
This means taking the time to carefully evaluate what’s working, what needs improvement, and how we can build a stronger, more efficient festival that can continue to serve the community for years to come. This decision isn’t about stepping away; it’s about investing in the future of the festival so we can come back better, more organized, and more prepared.
As we look ahead, we know that continuing this festival will require fresh ideas, and more hands on deck. These things really do take a village - We encourage our community to stay engaged, as we will be sharing opportunities to get involved in the planning process over the coming months. Your input and support will be invaluable in shaping the future of KVMF
We deeply appreciate your patience and enthusiasm as we take this year to reflect and rebuild. We will keep you updated on our progress, and we look forward to working together to create a festival that is stronger and more sustainable. KVMF isn’t going anywhere—this is just a pause to ensure we can continue bringing you the best experience possible in the years ahead.
With gratitude,
The KVMFS Board
