To our beloved Kispiox Valley Music Festival community, After much thoughtful discussion, the KVMFS board has made the difficult but necessary decision to pause KVMF for 2025. While we know this may come as a disappointment, we want to assure you that this is a healthy and strategic step forward.
Over the past few years, this amazing event has only grown in popularity, with attendance reaching all-time highs in recent years. It’s been incredible to see this community come together in such a big way, but we’ve also reached a point where, in more ways than one, the event is being pushed to the limits. About
The Kispiox Valley Music Festival Society is a not for profit society. The festival takes place annually on the last full weekend in July.
The Kispiox Valley Music Festival Society came into being in 1994 as a result of an enthusiastic group of individuals hoping to put on a music festival in our community. That first year a group of talented local volunteers designed and erected a spectacular stage on the banks of the Kispiox River fronted by a natural grassy amphitheater. Valley residents spent months creating an environment for the upcoming event. Over fifty musicians and some two hundred volunteers convened on the last weekend in July in 1995 and we had our first Kispiox Valley Music Festival.
